A fully working character inspired from Samsung's Sam that went viral online last 2021. This is my first complete 3D human body structure made from scratch with almost complete functionality from head to toe.
With the help of a soundtrack from Les Misérables, I was able to complete my first and working facial rig animation by trying to lip sync with it. I treated the entire facial bone structure like a regular rigging system by connecting and placing the joints where I think a part of the face should move like eyebrows, lips, eyelids, and cheeks. I also used IK handles for the first time in the arm skeletons.
It was made from Autodesk Maya, Substance 3D Painter for its texture, and rendered using Arnold renderer. Few plugins were used such as ngSkinTools, to help me skin the model properly, and Substance for Maya, to help me import the textures correctly. Other Adobe softwares such as Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro were used for final outputs.
